How to Apply
Prospective homeowners are evaluated using four criteria:
- Need for decent, affordable housing - currently living in poverty or substandard housing
- Willingness to partner with Gadsden-Etowah Habitat for Humanity
- minimum 300 sweat equity hours which includes homeowner education classes
- Ability to repay a zero percent interest mortgage
- income must be 30% to 75% of median family income for Etowah County
- Resident of Etowah County for at least one (1) year.
